Bio of Karen Kallet:  

Karen L. Kallet has had a life long passion for marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing, DRTV and Social Media.  Karen Kallet was Chief Marketing Officer, CMO for Weil Lifestyle/ drweil.com. Her last position was Senior Director of Marketing for Carrington Colleges Group, a part of  DeVry.  Karen also owns a successful Social Media, Marketing and Lead generation consulting company Kallet Com, a publishing company, Twenty12 and co-founded a package goods company, Innofresh Products, Inc.  

In her career, she served in a variety of executive and senior leadership positions in marketing and advertising with corporations, startups and agencies. She was previously she was Senior Director of Marketing for Carrington colleges Group, a part of DeVry,  CMO for drweil.com, Vice President of Advertising, Internet and Lead Generation for Universal Technical Institute and served in senior marketing and advertising positions at Del Webb, SkyMall, America West Airlines, Western International Media, and Valley National Bank.  

Karen received her BFA  from Syracuse University and completed her graduate work in 2012 at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in the Digital Marketing Program and the Strategic Marketing Management  executive education programs. In 2003, she was named Advertising Person of the Year for the Phoenix market, the highest honor given by the Ad2 club to an industry leader.  

She is past president of all three of the major professional organizations:  American Marketing Association-Phoenix, The Phoenix Ad Club and  Arizona Direct Marketing Association.  

 She gives back to the marketing community by mentoring running the in transition group for professionals is our field who are in job transition and has helped over 5000 stay or gain employment in the market.   

She is an award-winning author and was awarded an IPPY for her humor cookbook, “When I cook, they run”.  

She has also written the Fast track Career guide for Phoenix for the past 10 years.  

She is currently writing her new book on social media and marketing integration.
